Christopher A. Ellis-Danson

Christopher A. Ellis-Danson (1/1/1970-1/13/2014) age 44, born in Murfreesboro, TN passed away suddenly following an out patient surgical procedure at Vanderbilt University’s, Nashville Surgical Center, on Monday, January 13, 2014, in route to his home from Nashville, TN to Crossville, TN.

Christopher followed in his father’s footsteps, Mark J. Danson, and worked as a heavy equipment operator and foreman for Mainstream Construction Co. in Gainesboro, TN.

Christopher was a very spiritual person and a Christian. He loved to bow hunt, fish and raise beagle dogs. He will be missed by all that knew him, friends and family alike. He always held out his had to anyone that needed a helping hand and smiled at anyone that needed a smile. He was a good-hearted person and up until the very last minutes of his life, he was a fun-loving person and loved to laugh and make other people laugh.

He will be dearly missed by his parents Mark (Scratch) and Joan Barrie-Danson of Linary, TN.

His aunts and uncle, LuAnne and Bob Sells of Tansi, and their children Heather and David Smith and their son Nicholas of Mississippi and Tom and Jennifer Rogers and son Tyler of South Carolina, as well as, his aunts Amber Barrie-Caldwell and Sharon Woolf of Christiana, TN, Meri Beth Barrie-Dykes and son Colton, and Delight Diane (DeDe) Barrie, all from Crossville, TN.

He will also never be forgotten by his uncle Tommy L. Phillips, Keith Phillips, and all of his cousins Toshia and Gene Powers, Roger Keith and Renee Phillips and Jessee and Tiffany Phillips and all of their beautiful children, all from Crossville, TN. As well as, his cousins, Amanda and Joseph Barrie-Richey and cousin Toby Barrie.

He will be dearly missed by his uncles and aunts, Hal and Kimberly Danson and son Kristopher, of Sparta, TN and their daughter, Bethany Danson-Shanku and spouse Alex and son Benjamin of New Brunswich, New Jersey.

His uncle and aunt Bobby and Peggy Allen, and their children, Casey and Carrie Allen and Melodee Allen-Walker and their wonderful children all from Crossville, TN.

He will be leaving behind his uncle Michael J. Danson and wife, Sandee L. Danson of Breckinridge, TN whom he loved with all of his heart. And their son and his wife Joshua and Jessica Danson and their children of Moyock, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Clifton and Jeanne Barrie of Crossville, and uncles Jimmy Dean Barrie, Dale Alan Barrie and Clifton E. Barrie, all from Crossville.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Melvin J. Danson, as well as, Ken and Dorothy Danson-Lawson, also of Crossville.

He will be thought of and missed by all of his cousins, friends and family too numerous to mention, and is thankful for all of the love and friendship that they showed him throughout his short lifetime.

Thank you to all of our friends, neighbors and relatives for your kindness and support at this very difficult and sorrow-filled time in our lives. May be rest in peace.
