Glen Harold Norris, age 90, was born on January 11, 1924 to Leonard and Ermine Norris in Fentress Co., TN and passed away on February 22, 2014 in Crossville, TN. In his early years, he was a coal miner, and afterwards spent most of his work life as a hospital technician. He loved to tinker with motors, enjoyed hunting, and his grandchildren were the “apple of his eye”.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 12 to 2 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow with  Foy Stover Officiating. Burial will follow in Fredonia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nick Cox, Justin Cox, Daniel Webb, Randy Young, Joel Conley, and Terry Norris.

Glen is survived by wife Grace Norris; daughters: Gina Webb (Romie), and Elaine Cox (Boyd); grandchildren: Christa Criswell, Daniel Webb, Link Cox, Greg Cox, Oscar Flatt, Jason Flatt, Monica Hedgecoth,  and Becky Cooper; 14 great grandchildren; brothers: Jerry Norris (Jewel), and Theodore Norris (Eula); sisters: Dimple Ashburn, Lula Belle Hicks (Brian), and Lenell Conley. He was preceded in death by: Parents: Leonard and Ermine Keyes Norris; brothers: Ronald Norris, and Leonard Norris, Jr.; sister: Madge Brown.
