Julia Pearl Hill, 89, of Crossville, TN passed away on March 5, 2014 at Cumberland House. Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Cumberland Fellowship. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 with Pastor Hank Jones officiating. Burial will be in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Julia’s name to Cumberland Fellowship.

Julia was born on November 8, 1924 in Marquand, MO. to Andrew and Bessie Pearl Davis Devenport. She enjoyed sewing, visiting elderly, those who were sick and shut in. She worked as a pastoral secretary.

Julia is survived by sons: William Jackson Hill, II (Teresa), Timothy Lynn Hill (Jan); daughters: Deborah Ann Butman, Rebecca Sue Jones (Hank); grandchildren: Ryan, Alex, Ashley, and Lauren; sister: Shirley Webb (Jim). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: William Jackson Hill, I; brother: James Devenport; sister: Bonnie Anderson.
