Lisa Diane McNeal Barnwell

Lisa was born on September 16, 1963 to Boyd and Gladys McNeal. She went home to be with her Lord on March 27, 2014. Lisa was of Baptist Faith and a homemaker. She had a passion for the Native American Culture; she was very compassionate and put others before herself. She loved the Lord and let everyone that she talked to know that the Lord loved them. Lisa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 with Pastor Mike McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Haley Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse and Charles Bolles, Paul and Will Gunter, David Flynn, Zack Barnwell, Danny Gunter and Steven McNeal.

Lisa is survived by: Husband: John Ed Barnwell; Children: Steven Dewayne Gibson (Becky), Jamie Marie Gibson (David Flynn), Zack Barnwell (Michella), Tausha Nesbit (Chad); Grandchildren: Skyler and Isaac Threet, Makaley, Tyler, Baylee and Adrian Gibson,  Akaisha, Will, Alayna, and Zack Flynn, Ethan, Gavin & Bravin Barnwell, Cameron, Jacob & Morgan Nesbit; Parents: Boyd and Gladys McNeal; Sisters: Kathy Bolles (Charlie), Edie Gunter (Danny), Arlene McNeal, and Sylvia Lewis (Tracy); Brothers: Steve McNeal (Nova), Leslie McNeal (Edna), and Timothy McNeal (Joanie); Many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.  She was preceded In Death by; Granddaughter: Hailey Marie; Grandparents: Sumler and Alma Allred, JB and Mary Alice McNeal; Aunt: Ruth Moles; Uncles: Bill Allred, Charles and Doug McNeal; Great Nephew Briant McNeal .

    -So terribly sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. She was a good lady and I remember her well from Hilltoppers.
