William Carl Segers, Sr., 70, of Crossville, TN passed away on July 23, 2014 at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. He was born on November 21, 1943 in Killen, AL to Thomas Gibbs and Sarah Peden Segers. Before retiring William worked as a heavy equipment operator. William enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and fast cars, and going to tractor pulls.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Cumberland Worship Center at 2:00 pm.

William is survived by: sons: William Carl Segers, Jr. (Chrystal), Curt Segers, and James Segers (Kimberly); grandchildren: Billy, Jimmy Lee, Autumn, and Brittany; great grandchild: Riley; brothers: George Segers; sisters: Janice Springer. He was preceded in by parents; wife: Pearl Beckham Segers; brothers: John, Charlie, and Jimmy; sisters: Ruby Gibbs, Ruth Baker, Ella Myrick, and Virginia McMillian.
