David A. Reinke

 Reinke, David A., age 90, of Crossville, Tennessee, formerly of Oconomowoc, and Milwaukee, WS was born on June 14, 1924 and passed away on July 28, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Billie Anne (Phillips), in Crossville.

 He will be missed by his children, Renée (Bill) Wesenberg,  Christine Reinke, and Suzanne Reinke, Ron (Joanne) Reinke, and his brother-in-law, Chet (Sandy) Durham, who was like a son to Dave. Also survived by his three grandsons, Bill (Susan Treacy) Wesenberg, Jr., Joe Wesenberg, Ryan Reinke, and his step-granddaughter, Jennifer. Also survived by three great-grandchildren. Also survived by a niece and many nephews.

 Dave served in the US Navy during WWII. Later he worked many years as a mason and cement contractor in the Milwaukee area. He also owned the Hideaway Tavern with his wife Miriam (“Maude”) on Okauchee Lake from 1967 to 1979. Dave moved to Crossville, TN in the early 1990s.

 Our dad was an avid golfer, making five holes-in-one, and he shot his age at 79. He was a bowler for many years in Milwaukee and Hartland. He enjoyed playing pool and cards with his many friends in Crossville, TN. Dave followed the Braves, both in Milwaukee and Atlanta, and was a dedicated Packers fan all his life. Dave was a great storyteller and an encyclopedia of jokes who always got a laugh.

 Preceded in death by his first wife, Miriam, and two sisters, Grace (Artie) Quasius and Joyce (Harold) Evans.

 Our family would like to thank all the hospice nurses and personnel at Cumberland House in Crossville. We very much appreciate the difficult job they do with such great love and compassion. We love our Dad and he will be missed.

 No memorial service will be held.
