Faye Marie Smith, 89, of Crossville, TN passed away on August 31, 2014 at Life Care Center of Crossville. Family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow on Thursday at 8:00 pm with Mike McCoy officiating. Burial will be on Friday, Sept. 5 at 10:00 am at Pomona Cemetery.

Faye was born on July 4, 1925 to Bert L. and Vergie McCormick Farris. She is survived by sons: Darrell L. Smith and Gerald L. Smith; brother: Bert “Bobby” Farris, Jr. (Gwen); sisters: Janie Wyatt (Albert), and Virginia Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Herman L. Smith; brothers: James Calvin Farris and Gene Farris.

The family would like to extend eternal gratitude to Debbie and Roger Holloway for all the friendship and care given to Faye over the years.

Faye babysat many many children that lovingly referred to her as Momma Faye.
