Dillard Woody, 74, of Crossville, TN passed away on October 10, 2014 at Cumberland House. Family will receive friends on Monday, October 13, 2014 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Donald Wattenbarger officiating. Burial will be in Bowman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Bowman, Charles Dixon, James Cox, David Wilson, William Woody, and James Johnson.

Dillard was born on May 22, 1940 in Cumberland County, TN to Lloyd Nelson and Gladys Avo [Keith] Woody. Dillard had a love for all kinds of gardening, enjoyed playing his Game Boy, collecting stamps, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

Dillard is survived by brothers: James Woody, Don Woody, and Carl Woody; sister: Mildred Dunbar; special nephew: William Woody; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents; Lloyd Nelson and Gladys Woody; brothers: Nelson, and William Roy.
