Dorothy Ann Crabtree, age 71, was born on July 11, 1943 in Fentress County, TN to Johnny and Edna Hood and passed away on March 13, 2015 in Crossville, TN. Being a homemaker is what she loved to do and gardening was one of her passions.

She is survived by her sons- Wolford Wayne Crabtree, Arnold Edward Crabtree (Keri), and William Ross Crabtree; daughters- Lois F. Phillips (David), Deborah J. Sherrill (Fred), and Donna L. Iles (Abe); grandchildren- Michael Crabtree (Jennifer), Lisa Rodriguez (Gabi), Adam Crabtree, Daniel Crabtree, Joshua Crabtree, Matthew Crabtree, Destiny Crabtree, Laci Flynn, Logan Sherrill, Kyle Sherrill (Jessica), DJ Crabtree, Colton Crabtree, Kayde Crabtree, Cody Iles, and Ashley Keagle; great grandchildren- Alex Rodriguez, Alena Rodriguez, Erica Pugh, Kameron Sherrill, Briggs Corum, Alexa Becker, Riley Crabtree, McKenzie Crabtree, and Sophia Crabtree; brothers- Arnold Hood (LaDonna), Billy Hood, and Layton Hood (Loretta); and sister- Nadine Hunnicutt (Bill).

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents- Johnny Hood Jr. and Edna Etter Smith Hood, Mabel Edwards, Marie Hayes, Katherine Myers, Lois Kenney, Johnny Hood, Ross Hood and David Hood.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00 with Pastor Scott Johnson officiating. The burial will be in Martha Washington Cemetery in Fentress County.
