Albert Nathaniel Bertram Sr.

Albert Nathaniel Bertram Sr., age 90, was born on September 13, 1924 in Pickett County, Tennessee to Willis and Edith Bertram and passed away on April 3, 2015 in Crossville, Tennessee. He was a World War II Veteran, who served in the US Army. He owned a laundromat business here in Crossville and was a farmer for most of his life. It has been said that walnut trees will be his legacy for years to come. He enjoyed living the rural life.

He is survived by his son- Albert Nathaniel Bertram Jr. (Lucero); daughters- Phyllis Richardson (Charles) and Dana Erwin (Danny); grandchildren- Monica and Jameson White, Albert Bertram III, Jessica Lynn Bertram, Steve Alan Camfield Jr, Emily Suzanne Erwin, and Rebecca Ann Erwin; four great grandchildren; brother- Joseph Bertram; and sister- Mary Katherine McQuistion.

Albert was preceded in death by his wife- Nellie Charlotte Bertram; parents- Willis Ervin Bertram and Edith Story Bertram; son- Willis Kent Bertram; and sisters- Blanche Bertram and Sarah Alice Maiwald.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 6, 2015, from 1 to 3 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with service to follow. Pastor Danny Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie Richardson, Steve Camfield, Albert Bertram, Danny Erwin, Nathaniel Bertram, and Jameson White.
