David Carl Mahaney, age 62, was born on November 12, 1952 in Monterey, TN to James and Willie Mahaney and passed away April 30, 2015 in Mayland, TN. He was the manager of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department at Cumberland Medical Center. His hobbies included coin collecting and playing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife- Phoebe Mahaney of Mayland; son- Adam Mahaney (Julie) and grandchildren- Ayden and Jackson Mahaney of Crossville; brothers- Estes Mahaney (Nellie) of Crossville, James Mahaney (Barbara) of Newton, AL, and Everett Mahaney (Patricia) of Douglasville, GA; sister- Charlotte Smith (Billy) of Crossville; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents- James T Mahaney and Willie Marie Pippin Mahaney; brothers- Ernest and Roger Mahaney; and sisters- Wanda Smith and Betty Roach.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 1 to 3 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with service to follow at 3. Burial will be in Mayland Cemetery.
