Veral Thomas VanWinkle, age 75, of Crossville, Tennessee was born on December 5, 1939 to the late Roy Francis VanWinkle and Nella Mae Brewer VanWinkle and passed away on September 14, 2015 in Crossville, Tennessee.

His life centered on his family and his faith. He was a loving servant of Jehovah. He cherished his role as a teacher and a shepher in the Crossville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was well known for his self-sacrificing efforts on behalf of others.

Mr. VanWinkle is survived by his wife Christine; daughters Sandra Jasiecki (James) and Melissa Marchuk (Kevin); grandchildren Thomas Vorhees, Joshua Vorhees, and Alexis Jasiecki; sisters Vera Wyatt, Cleo Burgess, and Fern Miller; aunts Dolly Cordell and Margaret Kirby; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nella, and his brother Gerald VanWinkle.

A memorial service for Mr. VanWinkle will be held on Saturday, September 19th at 5p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Crossville, Tennessee with Brother Alan Grindstaff officiating.
