Judith “Judy” Ann Westfall Foster

Judith “Judy” Ann Westfall Foster, 77, was born on November 3, 1938 to the late Francis and Gurtha (Moore) Westfall in Lafayette, Indiana. She passed on August 30, 2016 in Crossville, Tennessee. Judy worked as a dental assistant and office manager for several years before enjoying 40 years of motor homing, including five years full time traveling with her husband, Laddie, around the United States in their motorhome. In her travels, she developed lifelong friendships with fellow motorhomers from all over the country. Judy was a crafting queen; she did everything from sewing to wreath making and surprised family and friends with gifts of her beautiful work. Many of the crafts Judy made also aligned with her love of holidays. Judy loved spending the holidays with grandkids and other family members, especially when she could play cards and reminisce on days past.  Judy’s friendships extended far beyond imagination with her membership in the Red Hat Society and Ladies Luncheon Club.  Judy valued every relationship she held and cared for a myriad of people.   She spent 61 adventurous years together with the love of her life, 58 of them in marriage.

Judy is loved and missed by her husband Laddie, of Crossville; by her son Mike and his wife Vickie of Lafayette, Indiana; by her daughter Kim and her husband Mike Pinto of West Lafayette, Indiana; and by her daughter-in-law Marta of Lewisville, Texas. Judy loved her five grandchildren very much, Haley Richardson of Brooklyn, New York; Brent Bohs of Anderson, Indiana; Joey Lynn Foster of Chicago, Illinois; Alex Bohs of Los Angeles, California; Finn Foster of Durango, Colorado. She will be missed by her twin sister Janet and her husband Ron Calhoun of Winder, Georgia; by many nieces and nephews; and by hundreds of friends from coast to coast.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Gurtha; by her son Dale of Lewisville, Texas; three brothers, Francis, Harold, and Donald Westfall.

Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, September 3, 2016 for a greeting at 1:00 and a memorial service at 2:00 at the Crab Orchard Christian Church with a meal following.  Her love for her church family at Crab Orchard Christian Church led to her request for donations to the Crab Orchard Christian Church Building Fund in lieu of flowers.
