Kathryn Gumbel of Fairfield Glade, age 85, was born on March 14, 1931 to Donald and Ruth Snell in Canton, Illinois and passed away at her residence on October 19, 2016. Kay was known for many things; loving wife & mother, generous “G-Ma”, out-going, optimistic, and an easy person to talk to.
She is survived by husband- Joseph H Gumbel; sons- Bruce Gumbel, and Mark Gumbel; daughter- Kathy (Gumbel) McGlothin; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

We are praying for this beautiful family. Kathryn was a great person and I enjoyed her coming into Simonton’s over the past few years. We have had the pleasure of meeting the kids and grandkids. We love this family and are praying for them. She will be missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting her.
