Micki Lee English

English, Micki Lee
Of Oahu, HI former resident of Crossville, TN. On March 23rd, at age 50, Micki was tragically taken from her family far too soon. She brightened the lives of everyone who had the unique privilege of meeting her and brought joy and laughter to the lucky ones who truly got to know her. Micki lived her life with passion and treated everyone with kindness. She was a genuine free spirit, the type seldom seen and often misunderstood. She loved her family and close friends dearly and had recently been baptized in Hawaii.
She graduated Cumberland County High School Class of ’85 (the class that ROCKS!!) and became a Master Barber who eagerly shared her love for hair design anywhere she went. Micki will be lovingly remembered and missed by her surviving family; son, Anthony English Gustin, Crossville, TN; twin sister Vicki English, San Diego, CA; sister Linda Horner, Kansas City, MO and cousins in Kansas City and Crossville.
She was preceded by her parents James English and Flossie Lee English and brother Perry Pendergrass.
A memorial will be held on Sunday, April 2nd at 2 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with a Celebration of Micki’s Life to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a contribution to NAMI, a non-profit organization involved in research and treatment of bi-polar disorder.
