  5. I am totally shocked about Jeanie’s death, for we’ve been emailing each other about our shared “political worries”, and there was never any mention about health problems.
Jeanie and I were together a lot in our teens, and I spent lots of happy hours at her house, and at school. We both were dare devils, loved and participated in sports together, and had a lot of laughs together.
My heart and sympathy goes out to Junior and all their family. With love, Langhorne

  6. We are greatly saddened by the death of Jeanie, our friend of so many years. Our thoughts and prayers are for Junior and the entire Duff family during this time of bereavement.

  7. Dear Junior,

I was so very shocked and saddened to learn of Jeanie’s death. How grateful I am for our few days together in Lynchburg for our reunion. We all had such a good time and as always it is so great to visit with those you have grown up with. Age knows no bounds then -you just pick up where you left off even after seventy some years. She’ll be always in our thoughts and prayers and missed by all. Our love and very deepest sympathy to you and your family. May all the “dear memories” you shared together through the years be a source of comfort and strength to you in the days ahead.
