Benny Arnold Duff (Jeanie)

DUFF, BENNY ARNOLD (JEANIE) – age 77 of Fairfield Glade, TN passed away Friday August 17, 2012, at Cumberland House. Born February 19, 1935, in Lynchburg, VA, she graduated from Johnston Willis School of Nursing in Richmond, VA. She married her high school sweetheart, C.C. Duff, Jr. on December 20 1955. She loved life and family. The Lord blessed her with many years of love and happiness.

She is survived by her loving husband, Clarence C. Duff, Jr. (C.C.), sister, Frances Ann Palmer of Lynchburg, VA, son, David Duff and spouse Andria Duff of Evans, GA, daughter, Robbie  Duff Mihalko and spouse Jim Mihalko, of Fairview, TN and daughter, Kim Duff Shelton and spouse Greg Shelton of Smyrna, TN. She left a legacy to her 12 grandchildren, Dallas Duff, Brooks Duff, Chase Duff of Evans, GA, Casey Mihalko, Corrie Butler (spouse Chris Butler), Jamie Mihalko of Fairview,TN, Jeanie Ballard, Mitchell Shelton, Jacob Shelton, Andrew Shelton of Smyrna , TN, Austin Hoover, Taylor Hoover of Winter Springs, FL.

Jeanie was an active member of Cumberland Worship Center in Crossville, TN. A Memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Family will receive friends from 10am to 12pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Cumberland Worship Center, 145 Interstate Dr., Crossville, TN 38555 and Hospice of Cumberland County, 30 East Adams St, Crossville, TN 38555

  1. C.C. – Doug and I just wanted to say we are thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. Everytime I see a picture of Fripp I think of Jeanie and all the fun times we Rosettes had at the beach. Jeanie was a very special person and am so glad we met you and Jeanie here in Fairfield Glade.   5. I am totally shocked about Jeanie’s death, for we’ve been emailing each other about our shared “political worries”, and there was never any mention about health problems.
    Jeanie and I were together a lot in our teens, and I spent lots of happy hours at her house, and at school. We both were dare devils, loved and participated in sports together, and had a lot of laughs together.
    My heart and sympathy goes out to Junior and all their family. With love, Langhorne
