Charles Dixon

Charles Daniel Dixon, 77, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026. He was born on March 6, 1949 in Crossville, TN. Charlie was the child of Horace & Reba Dixon. He graduated from Cumberland County High School in 1967 and served 2 years in the United States Army. He was a very hard worker. He spent many years with the forestry department, but concluded his career as a corrections officer at the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching sports, and always being there for whoever needed him.

He is survived by his wife, Gina Dixon; former wife, Susie Dixon; son, Travis (Tiffany) Dixon and granddaughter, Sadie; stepdaughter, Ashleigh (Andrew) Phillips; grandchildren, Lexi, Mason, Noah, Eli, and Daniel; siblings, Beatrice (Bruce) Frasier, Leo Dixon, Betty (Charles) Bowman, and Lloyd (Lori) Dixon.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Dixon and Reba Stephens; and sister-in-law, Mary Dixon.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 3:00pm, with the service to follow at 3:00pm, Lee Atilano Officiating. He will be laid to rest in Neverfail Cemetery immediately following the service.
