Edward Brown

Edward Brown, age 83, of Crossville, TN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Wyndridge Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Edward was born on February 14, 1943 to the late Marion Brown and Sibbie Lewis. He was a dedicated and familiar face at Wyndridge, where he spent more than 40 years as a devoted employee. His unique connection to Wyndridge came full circle, as it served not only as the place where he spent his life's work caring for and interacting with others, but also where he was cared for in his final days.

Known for his bright personality, Edward loved to joke around and bring smiles to the faces of those around him. He was at his happiest when he was spending time with his friends and family, sharing a laugh and enjoying good company. He was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by many.

Edward is survived by his loving sister, Mable Sherrill; his brother, Bo Lewis; as well as a host of extended family members and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Brown and Sibbie Lewis; sisters, Lois Brown and Sue Bryant; and brother, Zollie Brown.
