Norman Montgomery

Norman Albert Montgomery, a unique soul and a pillar of strength, passed away on May 13, 2025. Born on the 14th of January, 1939, in New Eagle, Pennsylvania, Norm was a man of strong character and immense dedication. In his long career, his favorite job was being a firefighter. His compassion and love for helping people helped him excel in a challenging field and create a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Norm is survived by his beloved wife, Jane Montgomery, and his two devoted sons, Norman Scott Montgomery and William Trevor Montgomery. He was a loving grandfather to Chandler, Kendal, and Wylder Montgomery, who will always remember him for his kindness, wisdom, and the joy he brought to their lives. Norm was preceded in death by his father, Norman Montgomery, his mother, Martha Nutt Montgomery, and his first wife, Gloria Rae Montgomery. Each of them played a significant role in his life, shaping the man he became, and their influence continues to live on through him.

A celebration of Norm's life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:00amCDT at the Crossville First Methodist Church located at 100 Braun Street, Crossville, Tennessee, 38555, Pastor Louis Davis and Pastor Jay Archer officiating. Those who knew Norm are encouraged to attend and share their memories of a man who left an indelible mark on their hearts during fellowship following the service. It would be a tribute to Norm's life for those who loved him to gather together, share stories, and remember a life lived with purpose and passion.
