Johnny Grimsley, age 68, was born to Cordell and Emogene Grimsley on July 30, 1944 in Monterey, TN. He passed away on March 7, 2013 at his home in Cumberland County, TN. He was a truck driver by trade and enjoyed Nascar races, fishing, and just piddling around.

He is survived by his wife- Marla Grimsley; daughters- Manilla Grimsley and Jennifer Botbyl; stepchildren- Dean Williams, OJ Williams and Christine Williams; 5 grand children; sister- Rebecca and husband Roy Howard of Crossville, TN; brothers- Bill Grimsley of Columbia, TN, Tom and wife Frances Grimsley of Medina, TN, Jack and wife Linda Grimsley of Greensburg, KY, and Robert Grimsley of Crossville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents- Cordell  and Emogene Sampley Grimsley; one daughter; and a brother and sister.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, March 16, 2013 with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM. His niece, Jaime Grimsley will officiate.
