Walter Anderson “Buzz” Gunn, Jr., 76, of of Crossville, TN passed away on November 4, 2013 at Life Care Center of Sparta. Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 12;00 to 2:00 pm at the Church of the Nazarene. Funeral Service will follow at 2 with Rev. Gregory L. Keller and John Anderson Cayton officiating.

Buzz was born on March 12, 1937 to Walter Anderson Gunn, Sr. and Ernestine Dorris. He retired from the United States Army. In his younger years, Buzz built small scale model houses with intricate details, but his passion was church ministry, where he worked in all phases. He will be truly missed.

Buzz is survived by his wife: Phyllis Adams Gunn; daughters: Amy O’Neal (Richard), and Mary Strope (Ron); grandchildren: Danielle, Brandon, Kayla, Trevor, Kyanna, Savannah, and Austin; four great grandsons; sister: Bettye Cayton. He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Walter Anderson Gunn III; daughter: Cynthia Blackburn.
