Joy Elizabeth Mills, 88, of Crossville, TN passed away on January 21, 2014 at Cumberland Medical Center. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 with burial in Pomona Cemetery.
Joy was born on May 8, 1925 in Bermuda to Lubin and Annie Skater Hoare. She worked as a registered nurse.
Joy is survived by sons: G C Mills of Tennessee, Ron Mills (Sharon) of Michigan; daughter: Vicky Ann Mills of Minnesota; grandchildren: Sarah, Mac, Mindy, Scotty, and Alecia; sister Lillian Menshausen Thomas of NY. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband George Chester Mills II, sister: Marion Thomas and grandchild- Sharon.
I am very sorry for your loss. I worked at Country Place Health Care Center and Life Care Center for almost 28 years and always enjoyed sitting and talking with George and Joy. Heaven is a happier place with both George and Joy being there. Again, I am very sorry for your loss.
