Edna Sue Burke, 71, of Crossville, TN passed away on November 4, 2014 at Cumberland Medical Center. Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 12:00 to 2; 00 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 with Chip Bond officiating.
Edna was born on August 11, 1943 in Cumberland County, TN to William Potter and Alice Elizabeth Farr. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting, and loved spending time with and taking care of the grandchildren.
Edna is survived by: husband: Dallas Burke; daughter: Ruby Smith; grandchildren: Dallas, Melinda, and Douglas; great-grandchildren: Hunter, Shane, and Veronica; brothers: Homer Farr, Robert Farr, Billy Potter, Pete Potter, and Shane Potter; sisters: Mary Muncie, Johnny Farr, Glenis Norris, and Elizabeth Jesinski. She was preceded in death by parents William Potter and Alice Elizabeth Farr; sister: Thelma Langston; brothers: Claude Campbell, Douglas Farr, James Edward Farr, and Franklin Farr.

We are so sorry to hear about aunt Edna’s passing. Our love and prayers go out to all of our family as you go through this. I’m sure it was one heck of a reunion with she got to Heaven. I’m sure dad was smiling from ear to ear!
