Eugene Bunn, Jr., 92, went home to Heaven with peace and grace on March 10th, 2015., to join his wife Anne who was called home before him.

Survived by his Daughter Paula Holder Boyd (Ross), his granddaughter Pamela Aperans (Jim), his great grandchildren Amanda Spence, Megan Spence, Joshua Aperans, Michael Aperans (Heather), Jessica Moshier (George), and his great-great grandchildren Ty Elmore, Bryson Aperans, Mikenzie Aperans, and Drake Aperans.  He was also survived by his brother Jimmy Bunn (Dean), and his sisters Juanita Whittle (Jim), and Virginia Cochran. Eugene was born in Boothton, Alabama in 1922, was in the Army Air Corp during WW2 and retired from the Civil Service in 1981. After his retirement, he worked in real estate, on the golf course and anywhere a person or business needed help. He was a happy devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather before his passing. Gene (as he was known to his friends) was always very active in every Church he attended, from being a Deacon, to helping out in the nursery, to providing maintenance for the Church whenever it was needed. Gene knew the Lord, loved children, and would give a stranger the shirt off of his back, just to help out.

A service will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, 2653 North Main St. in Crossville, TN on March 14th from 10-12, with Burial immediately following at Green Acres Cemetery.  If you wish, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, Alzheimer’s Association, or the charity of your choice, as Gene would have liked to keep helping those in need.

He leaves us with blessed memories.
