Bob L. Evans, 75, of Fairfield Glade Community, went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2015 at Cumberland House. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Central Baptist Church. Service will be held at 11:00 with Pastor Billy Kemp, and Pastor Roland Smith officiating.

Bob was born on April 8, 1939 in Throckmorton, Texas to Robert and Amanda Evans. After serving in the United States Navy he worked as a production manager for Cadence Design Systems for 22 years. Bob enjoyed going fishing, reading, and playing his guitar. While living in California and attending church, he taught 4th grade Sunday School and Junior High boys Sunday School. He was an usher during the time he attended Central Baptist Church.

Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years Joan C. Evans; daughters: Stacy M. Skelly, and Rochelle L. Meintz; grandchildren: Christiaan Skelly, Dylon Skelly (Brittney), Carter Skelly, Amanda Meintz, and Nathan Meintz; great grandchild: Wryn Skelly. He was preceded in death by parents; Robert and Amanda Eads Evans; grandchild: Tyler Skelly.
