John Harold Adams, age 78, was born on April 1, 1937 in Cumberland County, TN to Monroe and Ethel Adams and passed away May 1, 2015 in Crossville, TN. He was a welder and enjoyed gardening, walking and squirrel hunting.

He is survived by sons-Johnny Adams (Angel), Jimmy Adams, and Vance Adams and daughter- Sandra Stringer, all from Georgia; grandchildren- Emily Adams, Ty Adams, Zach Stringer, Max Stringer, Mackenzie Stringer, Scott and Jessica Knight, Amber Adams, and Tyler Shepard; one great grandchild; brothers- Jim Adams, Clarence Adams (Paulette), and Jonah Adams (Joan); sisters- Lucy Newberry, Allene Wright, and Rachel Temple; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents- Monroe and Ethel Elmore Adams; and sisters- Pauline Callahan and Lucille Woody.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 4, 2015, from 1 to 3 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with the service to follow at 3. Burial will be in Fredonia Cemetery.
