David Lee Culbertson, age 72, was born on January 13, 1943 in Austin, TX to Carlos and Mary Coyle Culbertson and passed away on October 29, 2015 in Cookeville, TN. He was an Underwater Technician for the NUWC and in his younger years served our country in the United States Navy in Vietnam. He enjoyed acting in plays at his local VFWs, photography, and bowling. David loved dogs and did obedience training and dog shows.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years- Anna Pollio Culbertson; daughter- Kimberly England (Donald); grandchildren- Brandon Russell, Sarah Dawn England, Mary Louise England; great grandchildren- Cloi Lynn Russell, Sophia Izzy Russell, and Tylor Russell; brothers- Mike and Daryl Culbertson; sisters- Nancy Gray, Patti Fans, Susan Kenny and Becky Franklin; his dogs- Snoopy, Scarlett, and Sassy; and cat Socks.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held for him at Crossville Memorial on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 4:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in new London, Connecticut.
