Harold Milton Winfield was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 25, 1922, son of the late Elmer Winfield and Lucy Wolfram. He passed away at the age of 93.

He resided in Parma, Ohio and worked for Chrysler Corporation as a tool and die maker. He retired to Fairfield Glade, Tennessee in 1987. In his younger years, he took flying lessons and soloed, built his own boat with the help of his brother-in-law, and roller skated competitively in both figures and dance. He loved to ballroom dance, golf, and play chess. When he retired to Fairfield Glade, he and his wife, Virginia, also took up Square Dancing, Round Dancing, and tennis. He volunteered at CMC, Fairfield Glade Community Church, and at Crab Orchard, helping youngsters learn chess.

He is survived  by his loving wife, Virginia, and step children Deborah (Glenn) McKee of Vermont and Wallace Detrick of OH; nephews Edward, Michael, Dennis, and David Winfield and Jim Moore; nieces Marge Fletterick, and Donna Henderson; grandchildren Michael Hill, Autumn Book, Erica Detrick and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dale Winfield, sister Dorothy Herman, and step-son Burne Hill.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairfield Glade Community Church. At a later date, a memorial service will be held in Ohio.
