Glenn J. Bowman

Glenn J. Bowman, age 81, was born August 7, 1934 to Luther and Laura Bowman in Crossville, TN and passed away in Pleasant Hill, TN on November 30, 2015. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Tennessee Department of Highways, and he enjoyed fishing and squirrel hunting. He also served as a deacon in the Baptist church for several years.

Glenn is survived by his son- Gary Bowman (Connie) and daughter- Patricia Geer (James); his grandchildren- Nicole Bowman Dabbs (Russell), Matthew Geer (Rebecca), Timothy Geer (Misty), and David Geer; three great grandchildren- Taylor, Rylee, and Mia; and sister-in-laws- Leora Bowman, Thelma Bowman, and Marty Bowman.

He is preceded in death by his parents- Luther Bowman and Laura Woody Bowman, wife- Lola Elizabeth Bowman; brothers- Edward, Lloyd, Reed, Eugene, John, and Goldie Bowman; and sisters- Maxine Norris and Jewel Miller.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, from 5 to 8. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 11:00 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Bowman Cemetery. Timothy Geer will officiate.
