Opal E. Davidson, age 76, of Crossville, TN was born on August 24, 1939 to the late Dalie and Hazel Oakes Barnett. She passed away in Crossville, TN on January 19, 2016.
Opal is survived by her husband- Charles “Ed” Davidson; son- Eddie Davidson (Lela) of Mt. Juliet, TN; daughters- Jeanette Parsons and Patsy (Sam) Sherrill of Crossville, TN and Diane Davidson of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren- Travis Davidson, Seth Sherrill, Kristine Hubbard, Justin Shook, Stephanie Zook, Abbi Davidson, Daniel Davidson, and Anna Davidson; brother- Daniel Barnett (Elvie); and sisters- Creshia Bond, Kathy Fenwick, Karlene Taylor, and Ava Cummins.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service for Opal will be on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Qualls officiating. Her family will be receiving family and friends prior to the service from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Old Forest Hill Cemetery in Crossville, TN.
