Burlene Mahaney was born on February 22, 1940 to the late Burl and Ella Jernigan, and passed away February 14, 2017 in Putnam Co. Burlene was a home maker and loved to do yard work, flower gardening, cooking, crossword puzzles, and having yard sales.

She is survived by daughters- Candace Barnwell (Michael) and Melanie Mehaney. Grandchildren- Celsey Holt, Wesley Barnwell, Dylan Barnwell, and Kiera Phillips. Sister- Eula Ray McCloud.

She is preceded in death by her parents- Burl and Ella Jernigan, Husband- Roger Mehaney, Brother- Paul D. Jernigan, and Sister- Fannie May Hicks.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with a service to follow. Burial will be held at Mayland Cemetery.
