Wanda J. Cox, age 70, was born on August 26, 1947 in Lancing, TN to Mirtie and Helen McCoy,  and passed away at home on September 3, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Wanda lit up the world with her smile and kindness. Her favorite place to be was with her family, whether it be traveling, playing games, or just relaxing on the back porch looking at the beautiful view. She also enjoyed and excelled at cooking, tending to her flowers, and loved spending time feeding the fish in her pond.

She is survived by her husband- Donald Cox; daughter- Sherrie Cox Walker (Avery); son- Phil Cox (Valorie); very special grand daughter- Kelli Tipton (David Alberson); step grandchildren- Harley Walker and Steven Douglas; sister- Brenda Wing; brother- Archie McCoy; Special Sister-in-law- Donna Parham; best friend- Carolyn Lindsey, and many special nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents- Mirtie Homer McCoy and Helen Grace Howard McCoy and brother- Paul McCoy.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home from 12 to 2 with the service to follow at 2. Bro. Roy Langley will officiate and burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery.
