UPDATE: The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 1 to 3 pm with service to follow at 3. Burial will be in the Lantana Cemetery.

Ronald Burns, 65, of Crossville passed away October 1, 2012 at Cumberland Medical Center. Funeral service will be held on Thursday October 4, 2012 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Family will recieve friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Thursday. Burial will be in Lantana Cemetery. Pastor Mike Kerley will be officiating. Honor Guard will provide full military honors and serve as pallbearers.

Ronald was born on May 11, 1947 in Hawkins County, TN. Served in the United States Army. He was self employed working with heat and air units. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working.

He is survived by his wife Margie Burns; son; Brian Burns and wife Michelle; daughter Rhonda Kemmer and husband Jim; Grandchildren Elizabeth, Samantha, Gage, Angeli, Chris, and Todd; great grandchild Ethan; Brother Joe Burns.

He was preceded in death by his mother Katherine Pauline Williams Burgess and step father Alva Burgess.
