James Edward Deck, age 66, was born in Taylorville, IL on August 21, 1946 and died at his home surrounded by his loving family on December 26, 2012 in Crossville, TN. James was a Vietnam Vet in the Air Force, and retired from the Federal Civil Service after twenty-five years.  He was an air and refrigerator mechanic for most of his life and loved playing golf and gardening.

He is survived by his Wife- Paulette Deck; Sons- Christian Deck (Robyn), and Michael Deck (Annetta); Daughter- Jennifer Warren (Michael); Grandchildren- Brouquelle Deck, Paige Deck, Ethan Warren, Taylor Deck, Nicholas Warren, and Paul Deck; Brothers- Kenneth Deck (Eleanor), John Deck (Bonita), and Robert (Bob) Deck; Sister- Rita Schmidt; Mother-in-Law- Natalie Whiles; Brother and Sister-in-Laws- James Galletly Jr. and wife Julie, Ronald Galletly and wife Veronica, and Rosario Nicosia and wife Joyce.

He was preceded in death by his parents- Burton and Rita Deck.
