Larry Lane Norton, 77, of Crossville, TN passed away on April 2, 2014 at Cumberland Medical Center. He was born on July 26, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Paul A. and Elma McGrath Norton.  Larry served in the United States Air Force, worked as a painter. He owned his own business, “Norton Decorating” which was highly successful in Franklin, In., before he retired to Tn. He was also an artist, he did many commissioned paintings, one titled, “The Schoolteacher” still hangs in Webb School.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 12, 2014 at 4:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Crossville, TN. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Norton family in care of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Franklin, IN.

Larry is survived by his wife: Vesta Orr Norton; sons: Jeff Norton (Cindy), and Kevin Norton; daughters: Norma Norton Averso (Brian), Jennifer Norton Robbins (Edward), Kathy Norton Rivera, and Beth Norton Beadle; 11 grandchildren: Melissa Norton, Ashley Norton, Nick Norton, Randelle Averso, Dylan Averso, Joseph Rivera, Danielle Rivera, Amber Beadle, Devin Beadle, Natasha Robbins, and Kaycee Robbins; seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother, two grandsons, and one great grandson.
