Leland Alvin Pryor, age 90, was born April 3, 1925 to Phillip and Arza Pryor in Byrdstown, Kentucky and passed away October 16, 2015 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was a logger and a farmer most of his life and during the winter you would find him shelling walnuts. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and playing bluegrass music. He loved playing with his great grandchildren and great great grandchild.

He is survived by his sons- Randy Lynn Pryor (Sandra) and Charles Glenn Pryor (Marlene); grand daughter- Rachel Dalton (Chris); great granddaughters- Jordan and Shelby; great great grandson- Liam; sister- Juanita Montgomery; and special friends- Josephine Padgett, Rick, and Marci.

Leland was preceded in death by his parents- Phillip Pryor and Arza Manis Pryor; wife- Eva Pryor; brothers- Arthur, Ruble, and Taubert; and sisters- Beatrice, Minnie, Hattie, and Mary Lou.

The family received friends on October 18, 2015 with service on October 19, 2015. He was interred at Woody Cemetery. Bro. Mark Hall and Bro. Leonard Brown officiated.
