Gerald Lemar Landrum

LandrumGerald Lemar Landrum, age 86, was born on March 23, 1929 in De Kalb, Mississippi to the late Cleveland and Theolia McArthur Landrum. He passed away at his home in Crossville, Tennessee on March 9, 2016. In his younger years, Gerald loved going skiing, snowmobiling, and hunting. He was a mason with De Kalb Lodge 33, a driver for the Shriners, and worked at General Motors. Gerald also enjoyed spending his time camping and traveling in his motor home. He loved helping others, and he would cut all of the neighborhood grass. Gerald was always friendly, and he never knew a stranger.

Gerald is survived by his wife- Alice Burchfield Landrum; sons- Gerald John Landrum of Crossville and Jimmy Landrum (Vicky) of Iowa; daughters- Evelyn Kaiser (Herbert) of Germany; four grandchildren- Alexandra, Stacy, Janie, and Michael; four great grand children- Drake, Dakota, Dawson, and Lilly; one great great grandchild- Roland; and sister- Bonnie McDonald (Hanzel).

He was preceded in death by his parents- Cleveland and Theolia McArthur Landrum.

  1. I am saddened to learn of Mr. Billy’s passing. I always thought the world of he and Ms. Jean and hated that he moved from Lynville, Miss. when she died. He will be missed.
