John Robert Treer, Sr, age 77, was born on April 4, 1940 in Montpelier, OH to the late Robert and Glema Sayles Treer. He passed away on December 16, 2017. John loved to be outside doing yardwork and feeding and watching the squirrels and birds.

He is survived by his wife- Sharron Treer; sons- John Treer, Jr. and David Treer; daughter- Donna Zak (Mark); grandchildren- Lisa McEachern, Heather Palmer, Joshua Treer, and Joey Treer; 5 great grandchildren; brother- Randy Treer (Susan); and sisters- Cathy Pease (Chip) and Karen.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers- Keith, Jim, and Ken Treer; and sister- Connie Hale.

Family will receive friends on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 11 to 1 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. A committal service for John will also be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at Crossville Memorial with Scott Johnson officiating.
