Reverend Roy Lee Cotter, Jr.

Reverend Roy Lee Cotter, Jr., age 74, took the walk to shake the hand of Jesus on July 31, 2021, with his family by his side in Crossville, TN.

He was born December 21, 1947, in Seminole, OK to Roy Lee Cotter, Sr. and Rose Mae (Kruse).

He earned his high school diploma from Eldora, IA in 1963. He became a factory trained Harley Davidson mechanic after earning a certificate from Harley Davidson Mechanic School in 1970. In 1980, he completed training at the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in Donelson, TN and served as a Deputy Sheriff in OK and TN. He was credentialed as an Ordained Minister on May 25, 1994 in Chelsea, OK and went on to become the founder and president of Harvesters Christian Fellowship, Inc.

He has had numerous interest throughout the years. Some of these included art, gunsmithing, leather crafting, woodworking, Harley Davidson motorcycles, police work, gardening, knife collecting, and ministry. He was also an active member of Redemption Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee Cotter, Sr. and Rose Rehan.

He is survived by his wife of 55, years, Judy Cotter; Children: Nancy Webb, Kristina Hobbs (Jeffery) and Angela Bunch (John); Siblings: Brothers, Joe Cotter and Mike Cotter; Sisters, Sandy Sutton and Tish Prack; and 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several extended family members and friends.

Join us for A Celebration of Unconditional Love and Redemption on Tuesday, August 3rd at 1:00 pm at Redemption Church. The burial will be at Big Lick Hillcrest Cemetery immediately following the service.
