Shelly Keating, age 71, was born on September 2, 1942 to Joseph and Unis Norris in Doeville, KY and passed away on April 4, 2014 in Crossville, TN. She was a housewife who loved cooking, volunteering in her church and loved to sit with people in their time of need. She was a happy person with a entrepreneurial spirit and enjoyed having her hands in a little bit of everything that helped others.

She is survived by her husband- William J. Keating; sons- Timothy and Joseph Keating; daughters- Robin Carter, Denise Keating, Rhonda Michini, and Wendy Campbell; grandchildren- Nicole, Jonathan, William, Isaac, Jason, Timothy, Joseph, Christopher, Tabitha, and Miranda; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a best friend- Laura Pruett.

She is preceded in death by her parents- Joseph Franklin Norris and Unis Hester Powell Norris; brothers- Frank Norris and GA Pleasant; sisters- Francis Sue Campbell, Helen Clark Grindstaff, Sylvia Profitt, Cora June Hartley, Rosa Hodge and Christy.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 1:00 at Pomona Cemetery.
