Donald Handlon, age 81, was born on August 5, 1934 in Chicago, IL to the late Kenneth Handlon and Mary Pitzel Handlon and passed away on September 8, 2015 in Crossville, TN. He loved hunting and working at the steel mill where he was a supervisor. He also loved playing and watching many different sports and card games.
He is survived by his wife Lois Jean Handlon, son Michael Bier, daughters Janice Kottka and Kimberly Nelson, husband Gary, grandchildren Sara Nelson, Dylan Nelson, Kelli Hatley, Monica Gregory, and Jennifer Alison, great grandchildren Kevin Kopas, Rebecca Sheehan, Alison Decker, Madison Decker, Bryan Norton, Jonathon Norton, and Katheryn Swafford, and brother Arnold Handlon in Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Denise Handlon.
Visitation for Donald will be on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 1pm to 2pm at Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church with a memorial service to follow at 2pm with Pastor Jay Archer officiating.
