  1. Linda was a treasure. She loved to travel to see her family and spend time with her niece and nephew and their pets. She always wanted to rename them “George” and keep them as her own. She enjoyed visiting Hawaii, and seeing the castles and the English countryside. She beamed with pure joy when she got to have breakfast at Disney World with them and some of the characters. She loved Mickey and Minnie mouse, but Pluto became a favorite after a hug over eggs and toast. She lost her mother, Tee, too soon, but enjoyed a closer relationship with her “Daddy” and they became closer than anyone imagined. They never stopped asking about each other. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Fairfield Glade until she moved into the Womens Group home in Crossville after her mother passed. She missed golf, long walks, mandarin oranges, and shrimp; but found family and love in the staff at the home and other residents. Thank You Becky, Amber, and everyone at the home for being compassionate and taking good care of her.

  2. Linda also had a grandniece that she enjoyed to visit with. She remained a proud member of her brothers family. She used to make her Daddy, Don, lunch when she fixed her own for her day at the Hill-toppers workshop. She was compassionate and had a lot of empathy and tried to make life easier for him after Tee passed away. She took pride in being able to work and help people and do chores. She simply loved to make people happy and wanted nothing more than a kind word or a hug and someone to spend time with. She loved to call her friends and family on the phone until hearing loss interfered; thanks to everyone who took the time to listen and be her friend.
