Robert Bean, age 76, was born in Ishpeming, Michigan. He obtained his degree and worked as a mechanical engineer, and retired from the Ford Motor Co. He has resided in Fairfield Glade with his loving wife, Joan Bean, where he has immensely enjoyed golfing. He has donated his time to Habitat for Humanity and also enjoyed gardening and travelling. He is survived by his wife, Joan Bean; son, Robert Bean from Kalamazoo, MI; daughter, Carolyn Stevens of Pleasant Ridge, MI; and two grandchildren, Noah and Olivia. Robert has a brother, John Bean in Clearwater, FL and two sisters Ann Hoitenga from Alpena, MI and Marion Gherondas (Jim) from Grand Ledge, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Margaret Bean and a brother, Bernard Bean.

His services will on Sunday, August 21, at 3:00 pm at the United Methodist Church of Fairfield Glade. Rev. Lanita Monroe will be officiating. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. will be in charge of the arrangements.
