Raymond Norris, 89 of Crossville, TN passed away Aug. 7, 2011 at Cumberland Medical Center. Visitation is Tues. Aug. 9, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Service will be Wed. Aug. 10, 2011 at 1:00 pm  with Pastor Walt Phillips officiating. He will be laid to rest in Bowman Cemetery following the funeral service. Pall bearers will be Burt Norris, Jeremy Norris, Sean Norris and Thstan Norris. Honor Guard will provide full Military Honors. Born Aug. 2, 1922 to Abner and Mary Ellen Barnwell Norris in Crossville, TN. He served in the United States Army and worked as a farmer. He is survived by his wife Maxine Norris, Children: Velma Sherrill, Everette Norris, Carl Norris, David Norris and Brenda Palmer all of Crossville. Grandchildren: Yvette Dorsey, Eric Lawson, Tristan Norris, Christie Ray, Carl R. Norris, Eric Parsons, Jeremy Norris and Sean Norris.  Eight Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.
