Claude Wyatt

Claude Wyatt , age 84, was born on July 13, 1928 in Crossville, TN and died January 4, 2013 in Crossville, TN. He worked for Avery Dennison in the Shipping/Receiving Department and became a foreman there before retiring. Claude loved Tennessee Football but his love was softball and baseball. He was a catcher for the Mayland Bush League and played for Hill’s Department Store. He was also an umpire for 30 years.

He is survived by his sons- Brian Wyatt, and Craig and Kim Wyatt; daughter- Vickie and Wayne Flynn; grandchildren- Elijah Wyatt, Paite Wyatt, Adam Flynn, Brad and Shannon Flynn, and Travis Massengill; and one great grandchild- Ashton Flynn.

He is preceded in death by his parents- Pate and Myrtle Maxwell Wyatt, wife- Anita Parsons Wyatt; daughter- Cindy Massengill; and brothers- Andrew and Mitchell Wyatt.

Claude’s family will be receiving friends on Sunday evening, January 6, 2013, from 6 to 9 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Monday the 7th at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in the Mayland Cemetery. Long time friend, Mike Reagan, will be officiating.
